1. History

In response to the requirements of training reform of the Army in general and of the Academy in particular. On October 27, 2009, the General Staff issued Decision No. 1737/QD-TM on the establishment of the Testing & Quality Assurance of Education and Training Office. According to the decision, the Department is a unit directly under the Board of Presidents on the basis of additional tasks and reorganization of the Training Inspection Office under the Department of Training and Education. The office has the function of advising the Party Committee, the Board of Presidents on the work of Testing & Quality Assurance of Education-Training; to coordinate with the Department of Training, the Post-Graduation Office in formulating plans and performing the task of enrollment, organizing exams, marking at the end of modules, subjects and graduation exams; to preside over developing and submitting to the Presidents of the Academy for promulgation documents on implementation of guidelines, policies and legal documents on the work of Testing & Quality Assurance of Education and Training of the Ministry of National Defense and guide the institution. implementing agencies and units; to preside over planning and organizing the self-assessment of school quality according to the criteria set by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Since its establishment, the Office has always attached great importance to the organization, building a strong and comprehensive unit, completing the tasks well. According to the summary assessment of each school year (from 2009 to 2021) of the Academy, it shows that: The Testing & Quality Assurance of Education and Training office has well performed, helping to improve teaching and learning activities; quantity is increasing day by day. Researching, drafting, and promulgating regulatory documents on testing work in accordance with regulations and guidance of the Department of Schools, the General Staff. Proposing the organization of exam forms suitable to the requirements of the knowledge block in order to improve the quality of training. In 2018, there were 02 leaders of the Department of Defense successfully defended the military doctoral thesis, in 2019 01 Academy-level scientific project was successfully defended.

The school's self-assessment and education and training quality accreditation have been planned, advised the Academy's Board of Presidents, and coordinated with superior authorities to publish 02 copies of the self-assessment. according to the school evaluation standards and education quality accreditation (December 2016 and June 2019) to ensure the plan, good quality, and is highly appreciated by the superior authorities.

In addition to performing well the assigned functions and tasks, in recent years, the Department has also successfully completed other tasks assigned by the Boards of Presidents such as: selecting cadres and lecturers from agencies and units in the field of science and technology. working at the Academy; participate in the recruitment of Postgraduate, Postgraduate students in good quality assurance courses, which are highly appreciated.

2. Functions, tasks

- To coordinate with the Department of Training - Education, Post-Graduatin Division to plan and perform the task of enrollment, organize exams, mark the end of the course, subject and graduation exam;

- To preside over developing and submitting to the Academy’s President for promulgation documents on implementation of guidelines, policies and legal documents on Testing & Quality Assurance of Education and Training of the Ministry of National Defense;

- To assume the prime responsibility for planning and organize the self-assessment of training quality according to the criteria set by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of National Defense; periodically consulting officials, lecturers, students and agencies and units using staff trained by the Academy on training quality, teaching and training quality assurance factors;

- Organize inspection of education and training regimes and regulations;

- To assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with relevant agencies in, organizing professional training for organizations and individuals engaged in testing and quality assurance of education and training.

3. Leadership

4. Achievements:
